Information Queensland (IQ) is about providing direct access to government held spatial information, through its Atlas and Queensland Government Information Service for spatial data.
Online Atlas can be used by anyone wanting to use a map. Its special feature is that you can search for your address, and discover the lot and plan number. More Information (Fact Sheet, PDF 124kB).
Queensland Government Information Service (QGIS) provides access a range of free or saleable government geospatial and associated data. Data can be ordered for download or delivered on DVD. More Information (Fact Sheet, PDF 124kB).
More government information will be channeled through this service, but if you don’t find what you are looking for, more spatial products, maps and data are available through the agencies listed in Useful Links on the left.
